Albert Einstein Exhibit - 2005
"The year 2005 marks the centenary of Einstein's annus mirabilis of 1905 and of the 50th anniversary of his death in 1955. The miracle year saw the publication of path-breaking papers on the light quantum hypothesis, Brownian motion and special relativity, including the introduction of his famous formula E=mc2."*
All of these papers were published by the 26-year-old Einstein in the Annalen der Physik, one of the major physics journals of the time.
Taken together these papers revolutionized physics and influenced the course of science, technology, politics, and culture in the 20th century and beyond.
