Off-Campus Access When off-campus (at home or traveling) you may access the libraries licensed databases, electronic journals, and electronic books. Points to consider:
- Your University Internet ID is the key to remote access. VPN will not give you access to most resources.
- MNCAT is freely available and will provide solid links to the items it lists.
- Links on Library Web pages will provide good access.
- Google Scholar. You can maximize its value by either:
- Setting your preferences there to University of Minnesota
- or by using a Library Link to access it.
Donating
- Gifts and Donations are most welcome.
- You can also contact your subject librarian to discuss donations.
