New users must register for an account before using SciFinder Scholar Web.

Download SciFinder Scholar to your computer. If you are unable to access the page, try downloading and logging-in to Virtual Private Network (VPN) software first.

On Campus

In BioMedical, Walter, or Magrath libraries, click on the SciFinder icon on the desktop of public computers.

• Use is contractually restricted to current U of MN faculty, students and staff.
• We are limited to 17 users at a time. Please log out when you are finished.
• The busiest times are weekday afternoons.
• Off-campus, download and log-in to Virtual Private Network (VPN) software before opening SciFinder Scholar.
