Borealis 3 You've heard of hybrid vehicles, now see the latest car that runs on solar power - developed by students from the Institute of technology! The Science and Engineering library proudly presents the unveiling of the 2005 University of Minnesota Solar Vehicle, Borealis III. Learn about the solar car (what do they do on cloudy days?) and cheer on the award-winning University of Minnesota Solar Vehicle Project Team as they prepare for this summer's North American Intercollegiate Solar Challenge, a race from Austin, Texas, to Calgary, Alberta.
